Our Staff Members Do Good in Their Spare Time, Too

In addition to performing their regular job duties, Cedar Sinai Park employees do good in their spare time as well by actively participating in the community outside of work.

On Sunday, September 18th, 32 staff joined Team Haverim and more than 35,000 other participants in the 2011 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in downtown Portland. Three brave employees ran the chip-timed 5K race, one conquered the untimed co-ed 5K run, and the largest contingent completed the untimed 5K coed walk. Participants commented on how much fun it was to get together with their coworkers and do something as a group.

Last week, a team of 6 Cedar Sinai Park staff joined forces with two Sinai Family Services colleagues at Oregon Public Broadcasting TV fundraising drive. Not only did they look good on television, they helped raise money for a good cause, and they had a whole lot of fun (there was a challenge involved).

In the month of October, staff are participating in Get Going Oregon and Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities.
