Meg Graf on Piano

Sunday, May 31, 1:30pm – 2:30pmpiano

Meg Graf on Piano

Meg Graf says: “Music makes the world a better place, and live music is best.”  She plays with a number of ensembles and also appears as a soloist.  Her employment background is in the medical, banking, media and education fields, but she says the only reason she works is to support her music habit. Whether playing for a memorial service in St. Louis, with the Black Derby Jazz Band in San Antonio, on tour with Eugene Symphonic Band in Alberta, or for a wedding on a cliff overlooking Oregon’s coastline, she seizes every possible opportunity to make music.  The only types of music Meg does not play are rap and acid rock; other than that, classical or country, bluegrass or big band, schottische or swing… it’s all good!  She has recorded a solo ragtime album, titled “Eatin’ Time,” and has recorded two albums with Calamity Jazz, a Dixieland band based in Eugene, Oregon.
