| Definition: | Responsible for nursing care of assigned residents, assessing conditions and making appropriate nursing decisions under the direction of a physician; and ensuring the Robison Jewish Health Center goal of providing care to our residents in an atmosphere of comfort, independence and dignity. |
| Reports To: | Resident Care Manager or Registered Nurse Supervisor

| Status: | Hourly/Non-exempt

| Qualifications:………… | Education:Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, holds current licensure in the State of Oregon as a Registered Nurse, and is in good standing with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
.Work Experience: A minimum of one (1) year current nursing experience is required, prior long-term care experience desired. Skills: A working knowledge of nursing theory, proficient in nursing procedures and infection control practices. Ability or skill in assessment of residents and situations. Ability to make decisions, organize work, supervise others, document clearly, and follow through on assignments. Ability to handle the many situations that are presented by resident’s, families, supervisors and staff. Ability to notice changes in the resident’s physical and psycho-social condition. Ability to identify reactions to medications and treatments. Ability to be flexible and adapt to change and to take direction from the Nurse Supervisor. Computer capability desirable or willing to learn. |
