| Part Time & Full Time Positions Available: | Day Shift: 6am – 2pm Evening Shift: 2pm – 10pm . |
| Definition: | Under the direction of the Health Care Coordinators and following the Service Plan, the Resident Assistant provides residents with assistance in activities of daily living including but not limited to such tasks as dressing, bathing, grooming, personal hygiene, safety, ambulation and toileting, and other tasks as assigned with in a Person Centered/Directed approach and the mission of RSM/CSP.

| Reports To: | Health Services Department Coordinator/Director of Health Services.

| Status: | Hourly/Non-exempt

| Qualifications:………… | Education: Minimum requirements include being able to speak clearly, read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English and do basic mathematical computations.
.Work Experience: Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living or home health care is preferred. Skills: Ability to respond effectively and courteously in many situations that are presented by residents, families, supervisors, and staff. Ability to be courteous and diplomatic under all circumstances. Must demonstrate ability to cooperate with others and willing to assist other team members and contribute to the overall well being of the resident in their home. Demonstrate ability to recognize a change in a resident’s condition including physical, mental and emotional areas and report observations and or concerns to Health Care Coordinator or RN. Must demonstrate knowledge, efficiency and effectiveness in safety aspects of all work duties including but not limited to use of proper body mechanics with resident transfers, lifting /carrying objects and infection control measures if universal precautions and biohazard clean up procedures. Computer capability desirable or willing to learn. |
