RJHC Rings in Summer with a BBQ Celebration
Robison Jewish Health Center recently greeted summer with a huge outdoor barbecue. Family and friends of residents joined the party to make a final headcount of over 130 people! Activity staff reported that all but 10 residents were outdoors enjoying great food, music and sunshine.
The aroma of freshly grilled hamburgers and hot dogs served as an impromptu invitation to Rose Schnitzer Manor residents who toe-tapped their way across the street and into the party. Throughout the barbecue, residents listened to the musical stylings of Jill Khovy’s band. Jill is a music therapist who visits CSP often, and for this special occasion she brought along a few of her friends to perform a mix of classic sing-along tunes and the fabulous fifties.
All in all, it was a marvelous event, and Robison looks forward to the next barbecue bash scheduled for July 28th at noon.
