Volunteers are at the heart of what we do
As a Cedar Sinai Park volunteer, your time is an essential gift to our residents and to this community. You will help enrich the lives of our residents and support the community that our residents rely upon. You become part of our team. Plus it’s good for your health too!
You’ll find a wide range of activities to choose from, such as:
- Arts, Recreation & Socialization. Lead or assist with activities ranging from ceramics, gardening, and games to reminiscence groups and more.
- Excursions & Local Outings. Join us for beach trips, casino outings, scenic drives, lunch and dinner outings, shopping, and community events.
-
- One-on-One Time. Read aloud to residents, come by for social visits or letter writing, or accompany residents on walks.
- Holidays, Parties & Other Evening Events. Join us for parties and events, Shabbat and holiday services, and bingo.
“When you volunteer at Cedar Sinai Park, you take what is special about you and apply it to enrich the lives of residents who both appreciate you and need you. Because Cedar Sinai Park is small enough, you get this intimate feeling of connecting with the residents. I see the people at Rose Schnitzer Manor and the Robison Home as my second family.”
