Heather was promoted to director of Sinai In-Home Care in early 2023, after six months as interim director. She joined Cedar Sinai Park eight years ago as a caregiver in the Robison Jewish Health Center/Harold Schnitzer Center for Living, and in 2019 moved over to Sinai In-Home Care as client care coordinator.
In 2022, Heather completed an intensive certification process to become a Positive Approach to Care (PAC) Certified Independent Trainer. She remains one of the few PAC-Certified trainers in the Portland-area, and recently received her re-certification. PAC is an organization founded by nationally-recognized dementia expert Teepa Snow, who has developed a widely-respected person-centered and engagement-driven philosophy designed to support those living with brain change in a more positive and respectful way.
To gain initial certification, Heather trained all of Sinai In-Home’s caregivers, so all In-Home staff now have advanced training in dementia care with consistent tools that set Cedar Sinai Park apart in the local senior living industry.
Heather has a bachelor of arts in early childhood development.
