EN PLEIN AIRE: THE POWER OF PAINTING OUTDOORS – ART WITHOUT PASSPORTS

Thursday, June 20, 10:30 a.m., Zidell Hall

Summer is here! Time to grab your folding chair, palette and paints and head for the park for some inspiration and painting. Better yet, travel free with us to meet the masters of Plein Aire – literally, painting in outdoor daylight. Artists as prolific as Monet, Renoir and Van Gogh to Winston Churchill all left the confines of their studios for the empowering experience of painting and drawing out of doors, in the landscape.

Greg Lewis, Senior Artist with the Oregon Society of Artists will explore how impressionists capture what the eye sees, and the heart expresses.

Join us for this delightful journey into the power of art, Thursday, June 20, at 10:30 a.m. in Zidell Hall.

Presented in collaboration with the Oregon Society of Artists.
